Target Group: All Sec 1 & 2 cadets, selected Sec 3 cadets (will be informed personally if selected)

Activity: Strengthening Campcraft Skills (knots & lashings), Tent-pitching

      Reporting Venue: School Foyer

Attire: PT-Kit

2.    27 – 28 Nov (Wed – Thu) 0900hrs – 1600hrs AND 29 Nov (Fri) 1200hrs – 1730hrs

Target Group: All Sec 2 cadets (Upcoming NCOs)

Activity: Leadership & Mentoring Skills Course (Bring Writing Materials)

 Reporting Venue: D&T Design Studio

Attire: PT-Kit

3.    From Dec Week 3 onwards (exact dates & timings to be confirmed)

Target Group: Campcraft Competition Team Members (members selected will be based on attitude as well as campcraft knowledge skills, selected members will be notified after 1Nov training session)

Activity: Campcraft Competition Training

 Reporting Venue: Parade Square

Attire: PT-Kit

*Campcraft Competition will commence on 25 Jan 2014.

Newsletter April/May Edition SECONDARY 3 SHOOTING COMPETITION Our Secondary 3 NPCC NCOs who got their Marksmanship badge (or close to it, for that matter!) were selected by Mr Tan Han Kiang to represent Junyuan NPCC in the annual shooting competition. Though they did not win the competition, they did persevered and tried their best during the competition. Kudos, NCOs! Teacher Officer-in-Charge Mr Tan Han Kiang with, from left Nurul Amirah bte Aman (3N2); Foo Weng Jing, Kevin (3E2); Suu Sandy Soe (3E4); Neo Zhong Wei, Clement (3E2); Nur Fadhila (3E4); Leong Shao Jun (3E4); Aloysious Seow (3E1); I’zzat Helmi Lau (3N2); and Ade Mutiara (3E3). Also present to provide support is Senior Audrey. _________________________________________________________________________ SECONDARY 3 STANDARD FIRST AID On the 30 th of June 2017, all our Secondary 3 NCOs were declared licensed first aiders after a vigorous two-day course inclusive of the practical and theory tests.

2018 NPCC Area 9 Games Day @ Changkat Changi Secondary School

Dear readers On Saturday, 14 April 2018, our cadets participated in the Area 9 Games Day 2018 along with cadets from Area 9, Hai Sing Catholic School, Hwa Chong Institution and Loyang View Secondary School. Our Table Soccer and Badminton team got third place, while our Basketball team got second place. But regardless of the positions they achieved, the most important takeaway is the team spirit and sportsmanship displayed throughout the event!
